Beautiful Strength, diptych I of II

Last year, in a process of interviewing 15 of my most beloved collectors, I discovered the resounding thread they all shared when speaking about having an original piece of my artwork in their home - that is, they felt both grounded and inspired when they communed with their Deb Chaney original art piece. 

I feel like these two recently sold pieces, Beautiful Strength I and II. really embody that feeling of both inspired and grounded. The sand and metallic elements really ground the painting, and yet the subtle greens and light areas show the spirit and creative inspiration that went into them.
