'A Mermaid's Adventure' is a 36“ x 36“ x 1.5“ multi-layered and textured painting created with mixed media on canvas and inspired by the ever-moving ocean and all the treasures and love within it. The artist imagines mermaids swimming around and within the creation. With collage elements, gold sparkles, acrylic paints, polymer mediums and even pieces of burlap, this modern mixed media artwork is a journey and feast for the eyes to explore!

Part of Deb Chaney's Pure Abstraction Series, these paintings each contain much texture and depth in their exploration of abstract painting and begin by the artist's hikes and beach walks, her inspiration from nature.
