About this painting
This original piece of abstract artwork was painted in 2016. The acrylic on paper uses collage and pen and measures 9” x 12”.
The colour palette of soft pastels blends seamlessly with earthy tones, creating a harmonious balance. Hints of gold leaf shimmer like celestial rays, symbolizing hope and enlightenment, help make this a thought-provoking and uplifting piece of artwork.
The central motif—a partially open door—is a powerful symbol of opportunity, transition, and revelation. The door stands slightly ajar, suggesting that there are infinite possibilities waiting beyond.
