Painting to support Women in TV & Film

I met a woman last week at my Gallery 117 Art Opening whom I spoke with about life dreams. Years back, her dream was to work the camera in film and television. It never panned out. Lots of reasons for this, the main one being that women were simply not given those jobs. I'm donating a painting this week to an organization called Women in Film and Television. Their mission is to support women succeeding in this industry where it has been predominantly male dominated for years now. On Wednesday October 1st, 2014 for their 25th Anniversary they will host a gala evening and fundraiser at the Fan Club 1050 Granville, Vancouver, BC.
